• CLINICAL ACTIVITIES
  • Multidisciplinary management of patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms, gastrointestinal and hepato-bilio-pancreatic cancers.
  • For more than 10 years clinical coordinator of a multidisciplinary team for clinical management of patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms. This team includes dedicated figures from the following several involved specialities: medical oncology, pathology, abdominal and thoracic surgery, thoracic and abdominal endoscopy, gastroenterology, endocrinology, radiotherapy.

   

• RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
  • Multidisciplinary and translational clinical research in neuroendocrine neoplasms and upper gastrointestinal cancers (particularly stomach and hepato-bilio-pancreatic cancers).
  • In 2013 and 2014, AIOM national coordinator for neuroendocrine neoplasms guidelines.
  • National and international coordinator of yearly multidisciplinary educational stages about neuroendocrine neoplasms IEO application for 2015 ENETS Center of Excellence (CoE) ongoing.
